Tony RoddA recent incumbent to the seaside town of Broadstairs, and having spent the past 5 years running the 2 AA Rosette restaurant Copper & Ink in Blackheath, South East London, with his wife (and co-owner) Becky, Tony can now be found at the stoves of Fifteen Square Metres.
Tony is passionate about seasonality, provenance and food waste, and takes inspiration from world cuisines ranging from Japanese to Scandinavian and everything in between. A finalist on MasterChef 2015, Tony can still be found on stage at food festivals across the country and outside of work enjoys nothing more than a glass of wine while listening to music on the record player. |
Becky RoddAlong with her husband, Becky is a newcomer to Broadstairs and the Isle of Thanet. She spent 5 years as the other half of Copper & Ink (although given Copper & Ink was named in her honour, it is hard to know which half she was).
Deeply passionate about wine, Becky gained her WSET Level 2 qualification with Merit and continues to further her knowledge of wine whenever she can. With a history of working in the food industry, not just at Copper & Ink, but having run her own gluten free baking business - Pin Up Pantry - for many years, Becky is definitely a lover of great food and the odd bit of alliteration! She (and her constant companions of red lipstick and a beret or headscarf) can now be found as the other half of Fifteen Square Metres as Co-Owner/Operator. |
